About this QR code
A Wi-Fi QR code encodes your network name, password, and security type into a pattern that modern phone cameras recognize automatically — on both iPhone (Camera app) and Android (built-in scanner in most versions), no separate app is needed. Scanning it connects the phone to that network directly, with nothing to type.
How to create it
- 1Enter the network name (SSID) exactly as it appears when searching for Wi-Fi on a phone, including capitalization.
- 2Choose the security type: WPA/WPA2 for most routers, WEP for older ones, or "no password" for open networks.
- 3Enter the password, and check "this network is hidden" if it doesn't broadcast its name.
- 4Download and print the code somewhere guests can see it while connecting.

- Wi-Fi names and passwords are case-sensitive — double-check capitalization before generating.
