Status as of preparation date: Google AdSense is disabled
1. Why advertising may appear
QReasyUse may use advertising revenue to support hosting, development, and free access to the tool. Advertising does not add a charge for generating a QR code.
2. Placement and transparency principles
- Ads will be clearly separated from generate, download, and reset controls and will not be designed to look like tool buttons.
- No forced popup, countdown, or interstitial will obstruct the core tool, except an appropriate legally required consent message.
- Under the current design policy, ads will not appear on legal, contact, or error/404 pages.
- Ad areas will be identified and space reserved where practical to reduce layout shift.
- Advertising does not alter QR output, and our generator functionality does not expose the browser-processed QR payload to ad scripts.
3. Google AdSense and data
When enabled, ads will be served through Google AdSense. Google and advertising technology providers may use cookies, identifiers, IP address, device data, web beacons, and interaction data for delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and personalisation, subject to configuration and consent. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
For the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we will not activate AdSense until a Google-certified CMP and compliant consent signalling are in place under Google’s current requirements.
4. Ad content and endorsement
Google selects and delivers ads through its systems. We do not verify or endorse each advertised product, service, seller, or claim. Review the destination before entering a transaction.
5. Choices and inappropriate ads
You can reject or withdraw consent through “Cookie Settings” and use relevant Google or browser ad controls. If you see an inappropriate ad, email details to QReasyUse@gmail.com so we can review and report it through available tools.
6. ads.txt
When an AdSense account is ready, we will publish an ads.txt file at the root domain using seller information supplied through AdSense and ensure it is crawlable. ads.txt identifies authorised inventory sellers but does not guarantee ad quality.
