Draft — pending review by a qualified legal professional
Drafted 2026-07-11. This document is written to accurately reflect how the site currently works, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and has no legal effect until the site owner has it reviewed and formally publishes it through the admin CMS.

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones QReasyUse uses, and how you can control them.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser to remember certain settings or information between visits.

2. Cookies we use

Necessary (always on, cannot be disabled)

Analytics (off by default)

This category covers analytics cookies only — and the site currently uses none, because our statistics (Vercel Web Analytics and aggregate usage counters) work without cookies and without identifying anyone, so they don't rely on this consent category. If a cookie-based analytics tool is ever added in the future, it will run only after you consent to this category.

Advertising (off by default)

Used only when the site owner has enabled Google AdSense and you have consented to this cookie category. Third-party (Google) cookies may include _gads, IDE, test_cookie, and others Google sets. No ad script loads at all until both conditions are met.

Personalization (off by default)

Reserved for potential future personalization features. Not currently in active use.

3. Managing your consent

On your first visit you'll see a cookie banner with these options:

  • Reject all — use only necessary cookies.
  • Accept selected — turn on only the categories you choose.
  • Cookie Settings (a button in the footer) — change your mind or withdraw consent at any time.

You can also block cookies via your browser's own settings, though disabling necessary cookies may break some functionality (like remembering your language).

4. If you reject all cookies

The QR code generator still works fully, no matter what you choose — creating and downloading a QR code never depends on any optional cookie. The only thing that changes is that the site won't remember your language preference on your next visit.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy whenever the cookies we actually use change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
