A phone QR code doesn't save a contact — it just dials. That's the whole point: someone who needs to call you right now doesn't need to type a number correctly under pressure.
When this beats a vCard
If all you want is "call this number," a phone QR is simpler than a vCard and scans as a smaller, cleaner code. Use vCard instead when you want the person's full contact saved for later — a delivery driver calling about today's order doesn't need your job title.
Country code matters
Our generator lets you set a country code separately from the number. Get this wrong and the call either fails or dials the wrong country. If your number already starts with your country code, leave the separate field empty — the generator won't double it.
Where this actually gets used
Delivery pickup points, service vans, "call before you visit" signs on gates, maintenance stickers on equipment — anywhere someone needs to reach a specific person or line fast, without hunting for a phone number printed too small to read.
One limit worth knowing
A phone QR code always dials the same number. If your number changes, the printed code stops working — reprint it rather than trying to "update" an old sticker.
